He saved us from ourselves

He sent his only son

To bleed and die upon that cross

A gift of life with the One

We hate and lie and carry on

He has endless mercy and love

We push and shove and envy

He sends a promise with one white dove

This unconditional love I see

It seems so unbelievable

But it’s written in the Bible

That miracles truly are possible

The world is one big battle

An endless war between two

But the light that shines reminds me

Of the faith that cannot undo

My Jesus, My Saviour

I want to thankyou

For what has been done

And that what lies ahead can be true

It really is amazing

Your grace and patience

With me- a sinner

I long for the day I can see your face

Please build me up stronger

The foundation is there

I want to live on your behalf

And your word I want to share

I want to make you proud

I need you here with me

Your masterpiece that I control

Belongs to you I see

So take me Lord

Lead the way
